Reflection #4

I have some great news! Dr. Kress is becoming more tech savvy in his classroom! During Educational Psychology, when Dr. Kress asked questions in class that are known to be "touchy" subjects with people, he decided to try out the response remotes for the Smart Board. By using this technology people would be more willing to answer truthfully to questions about abortion, capital punishment and even about Christians in the military, along with various other questions. At first he knew nothing about how to operate the technology he took the steps to learn how to work the Smart Board and then he only knew the very basics of how the board worked, and he still was willing to attempt using them in his classroom. Since some of us students have been learning to use the Smart Board we were able to help him to use it quickly and smoothly. I think it went great for his first time using this technology. Hopefully this will be the beginning for Dr. Kress and he will be more willing to try to use the technology to enhance the learning experience in his classes in the future.
